What is it?
If you have Internet Explorer 4.0 (or higher), then you have a great image viewing engine already on your PC. VistaPerfect taps into the displaying capabilities of Dynamic HTML and JavaScript to create a full-featured slide-show utility that is incredibly small.

Don't let the small download size of this free image viewer fool you. Features include recursive search for images, full-screen mode, auto advance timer, animated GIF support, display sequence options like randomizing sub-folders, and more.

Version 1.4 improves key command response, adds two new ways to navigation slide-shows and includes ToolTip help.

*Some popup-killers block VistaPerfect when it tries to launch.
To work around this incompatibility, type "vp:main" in a browser window and add it to your Favorites or Links.

How does it work?
VistaPerfect is a new type of hybrid "application" that can be done with Internet Explorer 4.x or higher. It is written JavaScript with a single ActiveX control, but it looks and acts like an application. You can find more details in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document.
