To setup your NT DSL connection, you need a Network Interface Card (NIC). This setup process assumes you have your NIC installed and setup on your computer. Refer to your NIC's manual for instructions on how to do this. The following instructions should help you get up and running.

Start Menu
  • Click on the Start Menu, then choose Settings, then choose Control Panel.

    Control Panel

  • Double-click on the Network icon.
  • Click on the Protocols tab.

    Protocols Tab

  • Under Network Protocols, highlight TCP/IP Protocol, then click the Properties button.

    IP Address Tab

  • Put a dot next to Specify an IP address.
  • In the IP Address box, type the IP address that was given to you by Internet America.
  • In the Subnet Mask box, type the Subnet Mask that was given to you by Internet America.
  • In the Default Gateway box, type the Gateway IP Address that was given to you by Internet America.
  • Click on the DNS tab.

    DNS Tab

  • In the Host box, type ia.
  • In the Domain box, type hypersurf.com.
  • In the DNS Server Search Order section, click the Add button, and add 209.237.0.8. Repeat this process for 207.5.0.40.

Click the OK button, then click the OK button again. It will now ask you to restart your computer, go ahead and let the computer restart. When it comes back up, you should be online with DSL!
